RWD - Winter Tires recommendation

It's RWD that is your main concern. Even snow tires are not going to "save" you if the rear breaks out and you skid. A/S should be fine, as long as you're not on ice (even snow tires are no good on ice, but they are twice as good as A/S, speaking generally). And, as long as you stay feather light on the gas pedal.

You can absolutely drive RWD on ice and snow with little issue. You're certainly changing your driving style and you won't be have it as easy as a properly set up AWD car, but it's certainly doable without the back stepping out.

First, the right tires. Light snow and a little ice, A/S should be fine. If you regularly see decent amounts of snow and snow sits on the ground for a decent bit of your winter I'd look into snow tires. Some of yall in more brutal winters than that, I'd just get a winter beater and not even let the Stinger see it regardless of drivetrain.

Second, slow and smooth motions. No sudden jerks or stabs at pedals. Eco or Smart mode.

Honestly the most dangerous thing about winter driving around here isnt the cold stuff on the road; it's the other idiots that you have to worry about.

I'd recommend Michelin X-Ice Xi3 tires. I have them on my AWD and the car was a tank in the snow with them last season. I drove during multiple heavy snow storms and felt very safe doing so.
