What's your favorite Mando setting! Post it!

definitely following this thread !
if anyone in Canada is interested, I was thinking of getting a unit, I could get two and send you one !

I made another tweak and drove in this morning, Ride is 20/31, Handling 35/40.

More comfortable ride for the commute but without the floaty feel, I think it is probably close or similar to the built in Comfort setting but might be slightly firmer.

I shall test this at lunch! I might try a tad bit firmer to see how close I can get to the sport and then a bit more.

Would you guys rate this as a significant improvment (like sway bars) or more subtle?

I just came back from my test of the Wayne settings. Still seems bouncy, but much better than the original Wayne settings. It seems @Waynerm002 is right with his new settings being possibly between or a little closer to the comfort settings on the app. We're getting there...Well, Wayne is getting there, I'm just copying him and giving my two cents. :geek:

I have Eibach sways and now the Mando. I can say for me the sways made a great improvement. Now, with the sways and the Mando... it's that much better. Hard to say which one is the better bang for the buck as I have only had the sways without the Mando and not the other way around. I do feel though, that the Mando is a great compliment as it gives those minor tweaks that I certainly notice. Sooo... that's my answer and I'm sticking to it. :)

This is great R&D, keep the findings and feedback coming guys

Thanks, I guess I will order and join this experiment.

You can firm up the ride a bit by going to 30/40 and bump the handling to 35/45. I still want to maintain some ride comfort while keeping the handling balanced for a Sport setting but I think with the Michelins, it might be better to stay a bit softer. I'm working on the 1% changes now to see how it feels. I think I will set the Handling to 30 to just work on tuning the Ride then focus on the Handling later.

Ahhhh...the tires! I now have the Conti DWS06's (for a month or so)... they are softer. Soooo... that makes sense! I shall move the settings to firmer as you suggested and maybe that'll balance out the softer-ness (that's a word) of the tires.:thumbup::thumbup:

Yes, please! The more we have doing the testing the better. The biggest problem I see...is that we don't have a starting point for the stock app settings of "comfort" and "sport". I think as we make minor adjustments we'll figure those settings out and then we'll be good!

This morning I went over into the Advanced section, it's normal setting is 40/60 for both Ride and Handling. The car is certainly tighter overall and on smooth roads, it feels good but a tad on the firm side. On bad roads, it rattles the car a bit and you feel the hits from the bumps and ruts but it isn't too bad for a sporty feel, I'll just have to tune it to be a bit softer. I didn't do any adjustments for speed, so it was like on the Basic section, 40/60 at all speeds. I'll play with it to ramp up to 60% at 70 and drive it around this weekend to see how it does.

Hoping for perfect timing where you guys have found some sweet settings that I can try when mine comes in. Ordered it yesterday.

I would like to share a custom profile that I made and that like a lot (so far), using Waynerm002's recommendations as a starting point.

My car is RWD with Eibach stabilizer (front and rear, both soft) and stock springs. It may feel different on a different car.

At usual low to medium speed, Waynerm002's settings are really good, but at high speed having the rear more stiff is not good (to my taste) and front needs more stiffness for stability. So I just tweaked very low and high speed. I tested the handling and stability at speeds up to 165mph and it feels very good. There may be room for improvement so stay tuned. ;)

Here it is:

Don't you have some contact / relationship with the guys? They need to add an export/import function so we can share files..

I like your Ride setting, the Handling up to 80 seems a bit excessive for me, at 70 it was a hard ride but that was 70 all around. Thanks for posting your settings, I'll fiddle with mine some more over the weekend to see how much better I can get it. On smooth roads, the base setting in Advanced is good and it's not too jarring on crappy roads but I would want it a tad softer. This is certainly a good purchase to tweak the ride of the car. Keep the setting coming folks!

Here are the raw values for people who want to set it identically:

As you say, handling may be tweaked a little further. :)
Now I wonder, how do you feel too much stiffness in handling?

Got mine in, I'll report back after a few days of driving (probably end of the week/next weekend) once I get some experience with it.
