• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Is there an identifying feature that should clue me in?

Just trying to think of the other spots I know around Canberra. Doesn't look like the Aborarium, I don't recall the car park being that close to the view at Stromlo (though there are a few parking areas up there), and I thought Mt Ainslie had more trees in the way of the view from the car park (and the lines weren't as new as that either if memory serves)...

Like I said he's a homing pigeon
Maybe we should nickname him " Homer " ? There was a kid that went to school with me, his surname was Homer so he was known always as "pigeon "

I've had a few nicknames over the years.

I was called Bruce in the UK, to the point where I stopped responding to my own name.

I've been called various things at work - Rock, Rib, Robe, Bobe.

Manaz is an online thing.

Have never been called Pigeon. That's reserved for Glenn McGrath.

Who is Grenn McGlath?

Haha. Not quite built for that, at 6'2" and ~200lbs.

Bruce was because of Monty Python.
No all Australian males where called Bruce- at least in the Seventies. The Goodies lampooned this in there show. At school any Unfortunate Aussies were immediately called Bruce and pronounced with a nasely snarl:p

I don't doubt it. But reference to Australian males in my schooling era was taken from the Goodies skit where by all Australian males were not as Bruce. I'll try and find it and post it.

It appears the Monty python skit refers to Bruce Dickinson the front man of Iron maiden.
