This past few days I have tried to see how much I ca push the the fuel economy, tried to stay around 65mph and been getting this kind of fuel economy, I wonder if this is just an anomaly or is supposed to be like this cuz Im not murdering the gas pedal.
Mine is a 2019 GT2 RWD ( by the way the best stinger money can buy) :D

The onboard calcs tend to be a little optimistic, but with steady cruising on flat land at those speeds I can believe it.

We have the same exact model and I have never seen anything over 29.5 MPG on my car's screen. Cruise control does help on highway drives but not so many flat roads in my area. I also keep a record of each fill up with miles driven and gallons used and my actual calculations are always lower than what's on the dash. I'm over 16,700 miles driven with one year of ownership and still enjoy this car EVERY day. Amazed (and happy) that as I drive in the Northeast part of the US- which is pretty populated- that I've only seen 15 other Stinger's on the road.

Can you elaborate on fuel type (all gas, E10, other), drive mode selected, RWD/AWD etc.? You are getting about 10 above the EPA rating. We would all love to know how.

Well done, looks good.
I cant even get that just on highway driving only, close tho. I am only 4000km new also.
Can you show the avg speed too please for that cycle?

... or you must just be going downhill all the time ;)

Premium, Eco mode, RWD, Cruise control 65 mph highway. There you go. Awesome to see that if you want you can get good efficiency from this monsta engine.

Hard to do 65 when on a long trip and even on my daily commute, so I wouldn’t see that. I have seen 29 on the 2018 but that didn’t last long as I started to put my foot in it. The best I’ve seen on the 2019 is 24, no long road trip in this one yet. Might get better once I get the first oil change done on the new one.

I've done some cruising on the interstate doing 65 and also achieved around 32-33 mph. Flat and warm weather makes a big difference in fuel economy.

I've checked the MPG calculations on my Stinger twice, first one read 19.2 on the dash, calculated was 18.6. Second was 23.2 on the dash, 22.4 calculated. That's assuming the pump is filling the tank back up to the same spot it was before, which isn't realistic. Pretty close considering though, my 2016 Maxima was often off by 2-3 mpg.

I had a 500 mile drive last week, the majority was a mix of hills and at times heavy traffic, and my cruising speed was right about 80mph. On the way out, after about 200 miles, I was off the freeway and on 55mph dual carriageways for about 50 miles, and saw over 30mpg average at one point.

I was running 87 octane.

Actual numbers from miles vs. fuel up was lower at 28, but still the best I've seen.

87octane? Sacrilege !
Don't say that shhh... You may wake up some fiery emotions here...

I've been doing a little experimentation by driving 65-70 mph on the same 5 mile stretch of I-95 in both directions. I am not calculating best-case fuel economy over a complete tank of gas because I haven't taken any long trips and it is not much fun if you never push hard on the accelerator. So, instead I am relying solely on the Stinger's optimistic calculation and only while at highway speed (resetting the "Drive Info" display at the start of each interval and recording the average at the end of 5 miles). Right now (not sure if still on winter blend fuel) 33 mpg is typical. I plan to record date, temperature, whether ac is on, octane rating, etc. for each trial.

Was just on a short road trip this weekend and was able to get 28 MPG (US gallon) during the highway cruise at 80 mph, at least according the the DIC. Very pleased with that.

I was able to get 29mpg US on my 2019 GT2 RWD with 1000 miles in Eco with 93 octane with the cruise control set on 78 here in Florida where it's relatively flat.

2018 GT2 AWD

I used 91 all winter, but drove 10-15 MPH above the speed limit on highways. I usually got from 20-21 mpg. Mostly kept it in comfort mode.

Over the last month I switched to 87, went to eco mode, and drove the speed limit. I now get from 26-28 mpg.

Today I did a mixed loop of 100+ miles: Stop and go city w/ lots of stops, 50 or so miles of interstate (drove 75-80 mph), and some highway of 40-65 mph. Some with the A/C on, wind was a non-factor and it was 60-70+ degrees F. I drove mostly in SMART or COMFORT mode--I got on it a few times to pass and on on-ramps but otherwise pretty moderate driving. I got about 26.5 mpg vehicle indicated. I use only top tier 91 octane (Phillips 66, BP on this tank). I have about 1300 miles on the car and this is the best overall mileage I've had since I picked up the car in January 2019. Given the weight and power of the car, I'm pretty happy with the mileage (my old car was a 2003 Subaru WRX.)

I also keep a record of each fill up with miles driven and gallons used and my actual calculations are always lower than what's on the dash.
I record that same data with every fill-up and have also noticed my calculated MPG is always between 1-2 MPG less than the car's dashboard calculation.

Cars computer mpg calculations are always on the optimistic side.
As stated above, for me, they are also usually 1-2 mpg more than actual.

On my trip down to TX from UT, I got a little better than 1 mpg better than last year's trip down. That was 28.8. This time I averaged 30.0 (got up to 31.1 for a lot of it, but then hit some terrain that reduced it 1.1 before fill up). I'm happy with that.
