Doesn't look like anything a 5 HP sump pump couldn't handle, and then you wouldn't need to drill a hole!

Lol agreed or if you want to be cheaper you can always go to the dollar store and buy a big bag of cotton balls and just put a bunch of cotton balls on the bottom there where is puddling up ..... it will just cost you 2 bucks ....Doesn't look like anything a 5 HP sump pump couldn't handle, and then you wouldn't need to drill a hole!![]()
Well, I guess you can pay for any damage in case it hydrolocks... because you stayed at a holiday in and now you my friend are an Internet “expert”. Lol.
If yours doesn’t do that in the rain, then if course YOU wouldn’t be concerned.
As I’ve stated about 3 times now, it isn’t the end of the world, I’ll drill a god damn hole. But sitting water in an engine bay isn’t something the manufacturer would recomend.
Thanks for playing (again).
Well, sure sounds like Blitz doesn’t think much of me.
Whatever. Just trying to do my best folks.

I was just trying to let you know not to worry and you acted like a straight up a**hole. I wasn't rude to you at all and you laughed and called me an internet expert because I told you what basically everyone who knows anything about cars would say.
Look at your tone and the matter of fact way you ended your post like you're some kind of badass. Noone was being a dick to you. You were throwing a fit.
Alright I need to step in enough of this shit .... both of you are bad ass and both of you are internet experts ...me in the other hand am neither lol ... back on topic so cottton balls or sump pump to solve the water issues ? Any input ?I was just trying to let you know not to worry and you acted like a straight up a**hole. I personally think even if you tried to follow this issues with AP would be pointless .... I can give you there response right now ....”well we tested ours and never had that issue .... we have sold hundreds is these intakes with no issues at all “ they got our money lol they can care less at this point unless with was something big then they won’t give a shit .... but at least this helps future buyers be more informed on the product and know what to expect ...Cleanest fix is just drilling a little drain hole, but engine bays are made to get some water in them. It's inevitable. The amount of water should not harm anything since it's a dry filter and nowhere near ENOUGH water to cause any damage.
It's still a con. I completely agree. Oversight by Agency. Just not an issue worth pursuing in my personal opinion.

That’s pretty normal .... I don’t get better than 15-17 mpg now .... even when I drive on eco mode and baby the car I get really bad gas mileage ... I defenetely never got what Kia advertised even before modding ... when I modded it got a lot worseInteresting finding (and I know why)...
Lost 2 mpg on the first test tank with the AP intakes (15.5 mpg...city only). Probably because I’ve been hooning a bit in first/second to hear the turbos/BOVs.
Oops.
LOL Same here I get about the same MPG on the stinger that i do on my Lexus ISF and its a V8....I dont know what the deal but clearly KIA pumped up the MPG numbers and any mod you do to this car lowers the MPG....I did notice that disabling the JB4 to map 0 helps the most on MPG....What is this 'MPG' that you speak of? I drive from gas station to gas station at a very fast rate.
With ssr cat delete and intakes I’m getting roughly the same gas mileage when I baby it. However the urge to really drive it hard has gone up quite a bit.LOL Same here I get about the same MPG on the stinger that i do on my Lexus ISF and its a V8....I dont know what the deal but clearly KIA pumped up the MPG numbers and any mod you do to this car lowers the MPG....I did notice that disabling the JB4 to map 0 helps the most on MPG....
AP is looking into the water pooling issue.
Wow that weird mine does not have the drainage .... good to know they must have made a changeSo I have the agency power intakes (installed them last week) - they came with a Pre-drilled hole for drainage. Checked the area today after driving 45 minutes in a south Florida down pour and no signs of water even getting into the area to need drainage. Fitment and quality is perfect on the unit. Just my 2 cents
