Perth Deep Chroma Blue GT

Joe Crisafio Kia has this GT about to go onto the floor. Looked amazing, very stylish colour and the red leather interior added some sport to the set-up.

Interestingly the colour had a purple aspect, and without the speckle of some of the other colours. I imagine this was due to the light it was in, being shaded at the time. Likely similar to the red which really varies depending on the light.

Don't imagine it will be there for long. Can't be many of the deep blue chroma models in Perth, this was the first I have seen.

Looks good and it’s one of the few colours with minimal paint issues. Bet it’s got the mood lighting too. Most of the DCBs were 2.0 litre versions that I saw in Perth.

Dcb: purplish during the day and midnight blue like at night. Also looks to me so much sportier at night. Washed the bugger today so much dust, they really do show the dirt. The paint appears thin when inspecting a couple of small stone chips, both went back to the metal. Still it does have that luxury look when clean.

After more than 12 months with the car now I thought I might be the only DCB RNL combination in Perth so hopefully I might see another one on the road at some stage.

Luckily it's not the red I saw in the optima gt which was a burgundy colour. That's what I assumed when the dealer rang me and said it's not I said black will do. First preference would have been grey leather.

By my estimation you could have been No.2 in Australia. Richard in Tasmania was the first.

First preference would have been grey leather.

My first preference as well @Ozstung , i think the colour is called light beige, in other countries it is available with Micro Blue, if i could swap the seats i would do it, i also love the light beige because it carries over to the interior door trim, originally i fell in love with the BMW 6 Series Deep Sea Blue paintwork with Ivory White leather interior, awesome combinations.

It appears though that MY19 red interior color is of darker shade than the previous year. Can anyone confirm it? I will try to take a picture of my red seats when i have a chance and good lighting, but would be better to see two cars side by side.

Hey there @Tazztattoo , great photos of your DeepChromaBlue StingerGT with RNL, i would like to ask if your Stinger has been Ceramic Coated ?

yes I has GYEON Q2 DuraBead ceramic coating professionally applied when the car was new but intend to do it myself in another 12 months or so depending on how long it lasts. I use the GYEON Q2M CURE finishing spray every time I wash the car to achieve a deep gloss finish and it helps to protect the ceramic coating so even after the 12 months with the car water is still beading much the same as it did when the ceramic coating was first applied.

There's always the wrap option. I'm still daydreaming about the competition orange; it would look good laid over my silky silver. No plans, just what-if.
