GT vs Tesla Model S , should be no surprise !!

It’s actually under 2.5 secs 0-60 with ludicrous plus. That pretty much beats ANY production car 0-60 and will challenge pretty much every production car to the 1/4 mile....that’s why it cost more.

Granted. I get it. The EV’s are going to be quicker then most/all ICE production cars. And I get the hi-tech, gee-whiz factor the EV’s have. Not for me though. I’ve seen (and “heard”) quite a few S’s and 3’s on the road. I’ve ridden in a Model X. Cool, I guess. I know they appeal to a lot of (younger?) folks. Still, to me, the EV’s are “soul-less”. That almost inaudible hum of the electrics – it doesn’t “do anything” for me. I’m old enough to have a special place in my heart for that low rumble and roar – and smell! - of big ol’ American V8 metal. And I love the “womp’”of my 3.3TT in Sport mode when I open the taps. I wouldn’t even consider a Tesla and those price-points – no-matter how quick they are. Maybe someday. Right now I’m perfectly happy in my “old fashioned” GT2.
