Hello All,
I recently got the wonderful P0597 thermostat heater control open circuit code. I went and looked at my car to make sure it wasn't a wiring issue and I found that something chewed through the connector to the thermostat (it's completely through and the end is just flopping about.. I'm not sure where the other end is.
Stinger is a 2018 GT2 AWD Question is, What wire harness would connect to the thermostat wire? I see there are two harnesses for the engine bay:
1. 2018-2019 Kia Stinger - 91430j5101
2.2018-2019 Kia Stinger - 91219j5070
Also, how easy to replace this thing do you think it is? Does anyone have any service pdf's of how to do this? I can fix the wiring (if it's not too bad) but I'm guessing there's more damage somewhere from the critters eating through this connectors wires.
Thanks!
