What tire size with aftermarket wheel

18x8.5 +35

Need new tires in the spring, can I run something a little wider, or should I just run the stock size tire?
 
I've seen 245 all around on that wide of 18" rim and offset.
 
255/40R18's all around work quite well on our Enkei TFR 18x8.5 ET38.
