What is the brand/part name used for the bi-modal exhaust upgrade in Australian models of Stinger GT? Thinking of getting the kia bi-modal upgrade.

Kia Stinger Genuine Accessories | Kia Australia lists the part (bottom right of 1st page), but only calls it "bi-modal exhaust upgrade". Doesn't mention what exhaust it actual is, though. I wanted to read up on it but no luck from googling. I remember "borla" was mentioned in reviews, but honestly cannot recall if they were Australian version car reviews or elsewhere.

I did call my local dealership but they couldn't name any brand or type other than its the bi modal exhaust upgrade option for the Stinger GT.

Figured if the kia's own 'exhaust upgrade' is used, it won't mess up any warranty stuff compared to getting a third party item, but I still wanna know what they're using if I go through kia!

Note this is Australia so I'm unsure if it's the same or different to the ones people get in other countries.

Australia Bi-Modal Exhaust Updates

It's a locally (Victoria) manufactured product developed exclusively for KIA. As you have a MY20 the part number should be KIJ5A19APK01 which is installed utilising electricts from the boot. The original model is KIJ5A19APK00 and requires removal of most of the dash to run electrics.
