These are pure garbage for use washing a car. They will not hold enough water (too thin) to make hand washing viable; they shed like crazy in the laundry; and they fall apart. Good for basic shop (cleanup) towels, I suppose. But that isn't what I bought them for. They are seriously overpriced for the poor quality that they are.
