UVO Inteligence cross border usage?

Has anyone else experienced the UVO Inteligence system not working when you cross into the US or visa versa?Where we live puts us in close proximity to Great Falls Montana where we drive to 4 or 5 times a year to take advantage of the significantly lowered airfare down to our vacation home in San Tan Valley AZ.
On our most recent trip this July, we took the Stinger for many reasons not the least of which was Montana's 80ml/hrs speed limit. For those interested the car would cruise all day at 130+. It performs very well at high speed.
Back to the subject of my inquiry. When we arrived in Great Falls, it was mid day and 94.
Of course my wife wanted to do some shopping.
When she was done dragging me around the traditional stores I tried to remote start my car to cool it down. No luck. Just and error message when trying to launch the App with an instruction to call Kia should the problem persist.
We caught our plane the following day leaving our car at the hotel we had stayed at.
While at our home in AZ, I tried again to launch the App to confirm my car was still at the hotel. Again the same error message.

Subsequent research on my behalf with KIA Canada has gleaned that the Cell Service provider that they are using has not been contracted by them to provide international roaming.
Translation, cars sold in Canada will only work in Canada.
Have any of you owners south of the 49th driven your cars up here in the great white north?
If you have, I would be very interested in knowing if you are experiencing the same cross boarded issues with the UVO Intelligence remote features.
