Put a $500 hold deposit on a 2018 GT2 with 34k miles and a clean carfax with 1 owner. Car was $29,889 and $35k out the door... Almost $6k in taxes and fees? Asked dealer and they stated that the car was not registered for 1 year so Id have to pay for that year and for 2020? Registration fees were $1300 ish (they said it cost $600 a year for registration), $2400 tax, $998 dealer fee, $80 doc fee, $750 theft fee, $25 temp fee, $100 liscense fee and some other small stuff I cant recall... Seems like so much..

Im sure they beefed up the hell out of these fees but it still seems like a good deal to me... I cant seem to find any other GT2's around, and the ones I do are $35k+ without tax and fees. Let me know if this would be a good decision. Im just not sure especially since the drivetrain warranty from Kia wont transfer... Only basic and others. im in socal if that helps. Any thoughts or advice would help thanks.
