Has anyone upsized their tires on the stock 19" wheels? If so, what sizes did you go with and positives or negatives did you experience with those choices? I was thinking of going with either option 1 - 235/40/19 or Option 2 - 245/35/19 for the front. I prefer option 1 due to increased sidewall protection and going from 225 to 245 seems like too big a jump in size, but the downside is the tires I want do not come in 235/40/19.. For the rear I am thinking 265/35/19, but my concern is that the width may be too wide for the 8.5" wide wheels. Thoughts?

My current front tires still have quite a bit of tread left (8/32"), is there any negatives I should consider if I just buy the larger rears until the 225/40/19's need to be replaced? If I did this for some time my tire setup would be 225/40/19's in front and 265/35/19's in rear.

I've been running 235/40/19 and 265/35/19 on the stock wheels with no issues for years now. if you have AWD they have to be close. 235/40 front and 265/35 rears or 245/275 in matching profiles (you can do 245/35 and 275/30, or 245/40 and 275/35, although I personally think that's a bit too tall for this car.) I wouldn't run 225/40 and 265/35 together.

Same, currently on my second set of Michelin PS4S 235/40/19 and 265/35/19. Also lowered on ark gtf springs and have 20mm rear spacers. Haven’t gone up to 275 because the rear is close to rubbing the fender as it is now and I haven’t had any blowout/bubble/pothole issues compared to my OEM 225 & 255 tires.

Plenty of people on the fb pages and here have run 235/40/19 & 265/35/19 and also 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 on the oem staggered 19” wheels.IMG_3606.webp

I have a RWD Stinger, so no concerns with an awd system. I just hate to waste the tread on the front tires I have. I suppose I can do one more set of 255/35's in the rear before I upsize.
