Unlocking with key fob

i am unable to unlock my passenger door with the key fob or door buttons from either door after starting the vehicle and stepping out. Is that a setting that can be changed or is that just the way it the stinger is designed? Thanks

If you have it selected to lock the doors upon starting, I believe that is how it works. The fob has to get back in the car before you can open anything else from outside.
