The markups are small, but probably a tactic to help the southern car buyer feel like he "got one over" on the dealership by negotiating it down. Attitudes towards the Korean brands aren't favorable here, so they need gimmicks to sell the higher-end cars (top-end Optima/Sonata, Cadenza, Stinger, K900)
