Ultimate Performance Downpipe/Midpipe Install Cost

Hey everyone!

I bought the exhaust combo and am trying to find a decent price to get these installed at for my 3.3L GT2. So my questions go as followed:

1. How much did it cost you to get it installed (if you didn't do it yourself)?
2. If by chance you live in central Florida (Tampa more specific), where did you go?

Most shops I have called can't do it or don't feel comfortable installing them. The only one that stated they could do it gave me a $1500 quote thus far.

Removing primaries on stinger is a huge risk. If one or more turbo studs break, which they like to do, it would be engine out repair. So any knowledgeable shop should really give you two estimates. One is for smooth replacement, and the other is for worst case. $1500 if everything goes well is way too much, but if they break a stud it's very cheap.

Right and I would feel better if they said, hey so we sort of broke this stud so it will cost more. Totally fair. But as you said, it is a lot of all goes well its much cheaper. They wanted to remove a lot of parts to create more space which is why it increased to 4.5 hrs each side. They even said if I bring it the night before they would lube the bolts and studs which is great but still I was hoping around the 750ish range (originally I was quoted 300 before he saw the car mind you)
