Hi All,
Have a query with the seats.
They used to be very cold, now not so much - and logged with the Dealer to look at.

Are the front seats Passively ventilated (i.e. moves cabin are around) or actively COOLED i.e. cooled by A/C or something else.

My local dealer seems to think they are Ventilated only, and therfore working correctly.

Any ideas? Links to Kia would be extremely helpful.

Hi, I had ventilated only seats in my Lexus, in the Stinger they are way cooler, it's even cold to the touch, never happened with ventilated only. It has something to do with the AC capacity to produce hot or cold for the rear vents no matter what the setting is in the front.

Seats are ventilated and driven by a fan unit located under the main cushion with a duct up the back. "Cooling" operates independently of the A/C. Without starting you car, turn climate control off, turn seat cooling on and you should hear the seat fan and feel "cool" air. If nothing then I suggest your fan is the issue.
