I recently had to have one of the turbos replaced. The waste gate went out and they tell me it's integral to the entire turbo unit. Also, the turbine wouldn't spin freely. They say this was a result of the waste gate failing.
Since the replacement, I've noticed my oil temp is consistently higher. Prior to the replacement, the "needle" on the dash gauge would hover over the leading 2 in 200. Now the needle hovers over the middle "0". Anyone have any idea why this would happen?
