Friday I commuted home normally, no issues or warning lights. Saturday, the wife and I went on a breakfast and coffee run. I noticed the car seemed extremely sluggish. Switched to sport and pulled up the gauge screen to see if I could tell anything from that. During acceleration, I had torque, but 0 PSI boost. After letting out of the acceleration, there was about 3 PSI of boost (none present during acceleration, only visible after letting off the gas) that was showing and immediately dropped. I babied it home after that, set up a service appointment with Kia (2 week wait time) and was severely worried as this is my daily.
She sat the rest of the day Saturday and all day Sunday. I checked the engine bay to see if I had any disconnected hoses or noticeable issues. I found 0 but I am also not the most knowledgeable, so I chocked it up to something I couldn't see or get to without a lift or ramps.
Monday morning, I went out and started it up. Usually I auto start before I gather my things to give it a little bit to warm up, but this time I wanted to make sure I didn't hear anything out of the ordinary on start up. Prepared to baby it to work, pulled out onto the road and she instantly felt like normal. I switched to sport, pulled up the gauges and did a slight pull. Everything worked as it should. No issues with boost or turbo. It's fixed...?
Mainly just wanting to know if anybody has had any similar issues that resolved itself or if there is more of an underlying issue here. 2023 GT2 RWD.
