Toyota Canada having a major parts SNAFU

Amazing that a company of that size fell down so badly on a 'systems upgrade'. Whether it's an actual lack of parts due to bad MRP forecasting, or as they claim an inability to locate where the parts are, it's inexcusable that they should fall down so badly on the changeover - and not have contingency plans in place.

This is the company that popularized the concept of 'Kaizen', or continuous improvement through ongoing change. If they did this in house, they have some serious issues to address. :thumbdown:
