The Kia Stinger Could Be a Future Classic.

I don't FB.

I did until FJB.

That picture is the Matte Silver Tribute. If the writer is saying it will be a classic, then so will all Stingers, with some trims and "editions" being more sought after than others. I would expect the Tributes to be the most valuable, with the Matte Silver being somewhat more valued than the Ascot Green Tribute.

Each of the special editions, for instance, the 2019 Federation Orange GTS D-AWD being possibly the next most sought after following the Tributes.

This is all based on if KIA continues to produce cars that are great. Since the Stinger, I wonder if they are even moving in that direction. If KIA produces another ICE performance oriented car, then the Stinger's status as a collectable will be assured.

People diss the Stinger for not selling enough. The first year it exceeded KIA's goal of 15,000 sold in N. America. After that, I didn't hear of any disappointment. Of course, selling more would have been cool. But did Stingers sit around gathering dust, only to be sold at slashed prices to move them off the lots? I didn't hear that. I think that the Stinger satisfied its purpose, advertising by its very continued existence what KIA can do.

Finally, if KIA upgrades its showrooms and service experience, that alone will be the biggest thing it can do to make the Stinger more valued in the future. If KIA continues to languish in the backwater of poor service reputation, the collectability of the Stinger will be reduced accordingly. And of course also, if worse came to worst, and KIA faded or disappeared, what would that do to the Stinger as an enthusiasts' collectable? We can only look at cars that get maintained and restored, many of which have no parent company in existence anymore.
