I figured that the electronically controlled exhausts warrant a seperate topic for specific questions and just general discussion. So I would gladly start it off:
Has anyone done a completely custom electronically valved exhaust? Or perhaps the ones who have the different valved exhausts, share your feedback and experience with both the valves open and closed
Me and the shop I am dealing with it at are looking for inspiration to build a fully custom system because I like the process, even if it does not end up noticeably cheaper than ready-made systems. Main issue why I went towards the custom solution was that the two main systems that are available in a good price bracket for Europe, the Jun BL EVC and Bastück EVC were something I did not fancy enough to warrant the one-time purchase cost.
We have mapped two muffler options that fit before the exit at the end of the Stinger exhaust pipes: Cherry Bomb Extreme 2.5" and the Magnaflow muffler. Now we are in the process of finding suitable primaries, midpipes and downpipes to complement the whole thing. Or perhaps welding completely custom ones based on some inspiration.
The EVC will either be from Guerilla or perhaps something else.
So the people with experience of building a full system, preferably EVC or some of the ready made ones, I would love to hear some sound clips and how is the experience with the valves open and closed.
