Touchup paint till later. Replace that plate, it took one for the team! Your dark chrome appears to have escaped, along with the splitter. Could have been so much worse. Where were you parked? Dashcam advice I have none. (the touchup, since you don't have anything to lose, can be as intensive as your patience allows: light sanding when thoroughly dry with 2000 grit wet/dry paper - lots of water - followed by rubbing and polishing compound and then a good layer of wax - or ceramic if that's your preference)

If you want the dash cam with the most advanced parking mode features, that is probably still the Thinkware U1000, which has an available radar sensor to save battery life. Generally, the Korean brands (Thinkware and Blackvue) will have more advanced parking mode with pre-buffering, etc. Blackvue also has models with LTE modules if you want remote monitoring and cloud recording. If looking to use parking mode extensively, I would personally look into a dedicated power source as well, such as the BE-750, which will extend your available parked operation while protecting your vehicle battery. Be ready to spend.

For an interesting alternative that doubles as a rear view monitor and eliminates rear blind spots, check my thread from earlier. Parking mode on this is going to be way more primitive than Thinnkware and Blackvue, but it's more budget friendly and solves a different, arguably significant issue with the Stinger.
