Tail light assembly

Does some one know how to remove the tail light assembly or tap into its wiring?

Instructions to remove the tail light are actually in the manual. Under the brake light replacement section.

Pull off the access panels in the hatch, remove the bolts, unclip the wiring harness and the taillights will come out.
