A few thoughts/questions on the Sunset Yellow fiasco

Is anyone at Kia going to lose their job over this? Who was ultimately responsible for the bad paint?

What will Kia do with the SYs that they buy back?

There are still a few new SYs listed on Cars.com (some still at MSRP!). Are these cars that have been deemed to not have a paint problem, or are the dealers trying to pull a fast one over some uninformed customer?

I know that the Sunset Yellows that had yet to be sold before this issue came to light we’re all repainted. As such, anyone who buys one should not have to worry about any paint issue, and they won’t be offered the 5k “goodwill gesture” that the owners who purchased beforehand were offered.
