Sunroof Rattle

I've got it, dang it.

Question for you guys who have solved this problem; did you do the DIY method described in other posts, or did you take it to a dealer and have them replace the frame? What were the results?

I'm probably going to take it back to the dealer, as I don't want to do anything that could possibly void the warranty, but I wanted to get you guys reports first about how you solved the problem and the results you experienced.

I don't have the sunroof noises. But I have read every discussion on the issue. And "yes" to both: trips to the dealer and DIY, usually a combo, after the dealer either "Efs" it up first, and/or fails to rectify the problem. Then all manner of "fixes" are tried, ranging from Shin-Etsu grease, silicone, other lubricants, to various tapes; and even complete sunroof replacement. Bleh!

I hope that your noises are quickly disposed of. Good hunting (for a solution).
