Was looking around on KIA's parts site and noticed that the rear springs are the same on the GT RWD and AWD cars, with or without the Electronically Controlled Suspension. On the front things are a little different, with springs and shocks being different across the AWD and RWD versions as well as ECS versus non-ECS. Now with the stabilizer bar, they seem to be the same up front on RWD and AWD and different in the back for AWD and RWD. Let me state that the difference I noticed is in the part numbers as I don't have access to the parts themselves.
I initially looked into this as I wondered if the GT had a different setup to the GT1 and 2 as I don't recall much body roll in the GT when I test drove it and while setting in the back. Now, I have to wonder what the real differences are between the GT and the cars with the ECS system. Sounds like a day of test driving back to back to see how they really differ. I'm seriously thinking about the Eibach stabilizer bars but would like to drive in a car that has them to decide. If not, I'll have to bite the bullet and give it a shot.
