This is a bizarre story. Last Wednesday a Los Angeles County (California) Sheriff's Deputy claimed that he was shot at by a sniper as he was walking to his personal car in a parking lot. A massive multi-day manhunt was launched, but no suspects were located. Holes began to appear in the 21-year old Deputy's story, and he is now under criminal investigation for faking the shooting.
