Hit the "CRUISE" button on the steering wheel, then flip the switch down towards "Set" to set it to the speed you're currently driving at. That switch can be moved up or down to raise/lower your cruise speed. The distance button (bottom left in the cluster) adjusts how far/close the car in front of you has to be for you to start slowing down (to maintain distance).
If you want to switch it to regular cruise control, turn on cruise, then hold the distance button for 2 seconds. A confirmation will pop up when it's switched over.
