Hi guys,
I just wanted to see if we now have more '22 owners out here that might be able to help me out with this.
I currently have the '22 GT Elite AWD (Canada) and am looking to lower and put spacers to get a flush look. I wasn't able to find the exact specs on the wheels (stock) online or any owners with experiences with the current setup. I am going based on what others have done with previous wheels and their offsets for now. While I have heard and seen most users using 20mm for the spacers, I am a bit worried about the longevity of the suspensions knowing that there will be some strain on the suspension down the road. I am leaning towards 15mm to minimize the strain and as well as possible pokes it may result in (a lot of random vehicle inspections up here).
My end goal would be...
- Lowered on ARK (for softer springs)
- 15mm all around (unless anyone has a different opinion)
- Achieve a look closest to flush
Or... might as well go with 10mm and stretched tires, but then I hear smaller width may be better for winter.
I couldn't seem to find a good example of another owner with 15mm with (or even without) lowering springs. Can someone guide me to the right direction?
Also, I am asking if anyone might have experienced purchased any spacers in Canada and know decent brands that will be reliable for quality and shipping.
Thank you so much in advance!
