Stinger 2021 to get overhaul

I think the way this 3.3tt is built, it would benefit from a good tune to get to more of it's power capacity. So by engine upgrade, they can just tune it for more power. Unless something radical changes on this car (which I don't think will happen), I'll keep this one and get a tune. Hopefully something good comes out in the next 6 months. Need more vrooom...

2021 should be the MY when the Stinger gets its F/L.

Think there will be minimal changes to the exterior w/ the interior getting a much needed upgrade.

Should also be getting the upgrade to the turbo versions of the 2.5L and 3.5L motors, if not also the addition of a hybrid.

Genesis is already testing the F/L G70 (earlier than usual as they want their lineup to fully depict their new design language).

From the article:
{One of the reasons for the modest sales is Kia Australia’s decision to focus on the private market, and deliberately avoid potentially greater sales through fleet operators.

“What we’ve done is, apart from police, we’ve limited fleet business,” Meredith explained. “We’ve done that on purpose because we want it to remain a halo car.”}

FWIW if they worked with rental companies to offer the Stinger GT2/3.3 GT Limited/$equivalentNameInWhatEverMarket as the luxury or a performance option in their rental fleets and not a stripped down Stinger, it would give more people an opportunity to give people a real experience of the car.

Also, when they hold back features from some markets in light of online reviews being available globally, they're killing their sales. For example, I'm holding off unless I can get all the UVO Intelligence/link features, either from Kia or emulated via DroneMobile, and the 3D gauges and rear LSD (Limited Slip Differential) diff that SK are already getting in the G70 sibling would be a nice plus as well.

Kia/Hyundai, keep online reviews in mind before you consider holding back features from the market you originally designed the car for (USA). We see you holding back on us!

I have a 2019 GT1 and I am pretty sure my options list said that I have Limited Slip Differential. I think!

fully depict their new design language).

Translation: catfish mouth grille.

I hope Kia resists this automotive trend if they continue on with the Stinger. Actually, I think the front of the Stinger shouldn't even be touched on a facelifted version. It looks good with crisp lines and aggressive styling. It's aged well. They could probably do some cool things with the rear end sculpting though.

I agree, the interior is in need of upgrading.
