How do we go about getting a spare ECU? Looking into tuning solutions, but don't want to be without my car for a week or more sending my ecu somewhere and waiting for it to get flashed and sent back.

When I did this in my toyota, which also had an immobilizer, it was as simple a getting the same part number, installing the new ecu, sticking a paperclip in the obd2 port and starting the car. I had an ecu for flashing, one with a hard tune and the original safe and sound.

I'm sure it's not that easy on the stinger, but there has to be a way. I'm not trying to trick the dealer, or anything. I just know that ecu's, like any other computer, can get corrupted and degrade when being flashed and re-written.

If you go with LAP3 for an ECU tune, you'll get a spare tuned ECU so you keep your OEM ECU. That's one of the reasons LAP3 ECU tunes cost more compared to other tuning options on the market.
