Sound cuts off

has anybody experienced the sound cutting off on all modes. Turning the car off and brings the sound back, but if you switch modes it cuts off again.

maybe once a month when I change drive modes it will create add static to my music through my apple carplay. Disconnecting and reconnecting my phone fixes it.

I have had both these issues happen to me, or continue to happen. Form my understanding it is the head units (on 2018 models mostly) that have an issue. Usually taking to the dealer for replacement works. I haven't had a chance to take mine in, but seems its a known issues so wouldn't have much hassle for it to be covered under warranty.
