Simple exhaust note augmentation!

Sorry if it's mentioned here before.
I recently removed the trunk cover/shelf and it instantly and noticeably increased the exhaust tone in the cabin. In sport mode, you hear more of the natural (not synthesized pumped-in sound). The cover is not going back in my car!

P.S. Not a big fan of stock exhaust tone but it is growing on me! It sounds like a 4banger trying to sound like a V6.

Yeah, the entire rear of the stinger is just an amphitheater for the exhaust.

Wanna know something else? If you fold the rear seats you get even more noise! Lol the stock exhaust is trash. Even with exhaust dump valves installed the noise is nowhere near enjoyable. I heard the 22s with the valved exhaust is a bit better than the old non valved.

I’ve started reading up on exhausts and man, so many options and opinions!

I’ve got a lot of tweaking to do before the pipes matter. I’m hoping the cat thieves don’t force my hand prematurely…
