Seibon carbon fibre hood install

I just posted on the other thread about the Mrs and her juke nismo RS sieben hood. It is a quality piece. It had better be for what I paid for it. But, unlike the stinger, the juke did not had gas struts to hold the hood up. But, I was told by the salesperson that the hood needed to be shut gently to keep it from cracking. Like duh!!!!
