Sat NAV Head unit upgrade from a non sat nav one?

HI all,

Is it possible to swap the head unti over to a sat nav enabled one? Mine has the 8" screen, but no nav on the HU. Its it just a case of getting the right head unit. My stinger is a 2018 3.3. If it is possible, does anyone know which it the correct part number, as theres quite a few on fleabay, but would need a uk version.

This is probably exactly what you're looking for, it may be possible to go to the 8" screen, but the newer 10" widescreen has different mounting points under the dashboard.

I am going to take one for the team. I went to Ebay and bought a used 8 Inch bezel-less screen to replace my 7 incher. Plan to install it this weekend, I will post pictures of the completed project.

Center 7" LCD touchscreen to 8" LCD?

I'm am in the process of doing this. Mostly on the FB groups for updates. So far, the pin out is mostly the same. 2 wires are different on the lvds cable. When I plugged the 8" in it turns on but no touch function. Couldn't get dealer to confirm if firmware is needed. Makes no sense why it would...
