Our 2022 Stinger GT1 is a very nice car, particularly at its selling price.
It does have more than it's share of these intrusive devices. In particular, I DESPISE "Idle Stop and Go". I don't think this "feature" earns it's keep in terms of improved mileage and if it does improve mileage, it likely increases engine wear. If it does increase wear, I doubt the increase in wear is significant.
I called Kia a while back and asked if there was any way to delete it? No was their reply.
Does anyone know if that so called "feanure" is mandated by Kia or in the US NHTSA? We have a 2023 Cadillac CTV4-V Blackwing. It doesn't have Idle Stop and GO.Thanks, Dom
