Greetings,
I just had my front bumper painted and am about to go insane, as I now have a couple small rock chips on the bumper. To protect the remaining paint job, I am looking into getting the 3M Clear Vinyl bra.
I have been reading on the forum that this is not a DIY job, and can be very frustrating. My question is, to those who may have had this product applied: If only covering the front bumper, does this job really need a professional?
I have a fair amount of experience installing vinyl stripes to my old Mustangs, but those surfaces didn’t have any sharp contours (hood). I also have experience installing black -out tint to my other car’s taillights with a heatgun. Would installing precut vinyl to my bumper really be that difficult? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
