A couple weeks ago I blew the turbo seal out of the drive side turbo. When this happened, oil started pouring out of my exhaust. I was about 2.5 miles from home so I tried to limp the car home. At this time the car acted normal outside of tons of smoke coming out of the exhaust. I made it about 1.5 miles and then my oil light came on, at that time I shut the car off and coasted it for as long as I could. Afterwards I called a tow truck to tow the car the last half mile to my house. Once home, I filled the car back up with oil and tried to start it. The car cranked for about 6 or 7 secs then started, but was running rough. Afterwards I got a CEL P0366, I figured must have something to do with the oil, being that it was low enough to trigger the oil light (just want to clarify, I didn't drive the car with the low oil light on, I immediately shut the car off as soon as the light came on). I installed a brand new OEM turbo, and brand new ultimate performance downpipes. Started the car and It's still running rough and still takes 6-7 secs to start. I let the car run for about 5 mins, car is backfiring and just doesn't run right when started, but after a min or so it does stabilize and run "better" but still not running "normal". I ended up buying the wrong Camshaft positioning sensor (bought the intake instead of exhaust) but since they were the exact same size and used the same plug connection, I went and tried putting the new intake cam sensor into the exhaust side. Made no difference, car still runs rough. I ordered the correct part, wont be here tell Friday. Anyone know if the cam sensors for intake and exhaust are interchangeable? I'm hoping not, because if they are then the new cam sensor I ordered wont fix my issue. Anyone have any ideas what the heck might of happened? Can low oil damage cam sensors? The car didn't run like that for very long as again I shut it off right when the light came on.
