Hello, I live in MN. It was 18 degrees this morning, which is crazy cold for this time of year, even for Minnesota.

I started up the car with the remote start let it run 1 cycle, which is about 10 minutes or so. The rear window was still all frosty, not unthawed at all. My question is, is there a way to turn on the rear defrost, heated steering wheel and the heated seats so the car is nice and warm when the remote start cycle is done? It seems like a dumb idea for the front window to warm up but the back is still totally iced up.

So your heated seats and steering wheel, yes. Check out Shark Racing (www.sharkracing.com) and their heated and cooled seats memory module. It is a DIY project and if you search the forum there are others who have installed it I believe. As for the rear defrost, not sure about that one. But hey, who looks out the back window anyway? :D
