I want to vinyl wrap my rear reflectors. For purposes of discussion we'll talk about the left rear reflector and references left/right will be when viewed from the outside.

I've tried to get my head up in there to see how they are mounted, but to say it's difficult would be an understatement. Dang muffler and pipes are just all in the way.

So on the right side of the reflector it appears to be a tab that sticks thru a slot. In the center is a tab that expands when pushed thru the hole in the fender. The left side is the one that's really really hard to see, but it may be a screw?? Does anyone know for sure ??

Maybe instead of removing them I should just wrap them in place?

Thank you

I've done it both ways , If you are inclined to remove the rear diffuser , then you can remove the reflectors ,wrap them and re and re ...................doing them from the outside works well too .............Try it first and see if you're satisfied , I removed my rear diffuser to paint my tips and it made sense to re wrap the reflectors dif3.webp

Thanx sir. Was there a screw holding in the left side of the left reflector?

Seems logical that I could do a cleaner and better job if I remove them. Don't want to remove diffuser, things never seem to go back together as well for me

I seem to remember a screw but can you see it from behind/below ? I think if you oversize your vinyl you will be able to work it all the way in and over the edges without removal .good luck ..................PS if you decide to remove the diffuser there are 2 rivetts on the outside back edge that need to be drilled out ..:thumbup:
