Radio FM and XM source loud volume at low levels

I cannot find any threads about this issue. I have an issue with the volume of the audio being very sensative when on FM/XM radio sources. If I turn the volume to '3' or '4' the audio is quite loud. When I change the source to Media (iPhone) and play audio, I make sure my iPhone volume is turned up to max volume, and the car audio seems normal. I can control the volume very well and actually listen to audio at comfortable, low levels if I choose to.

Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, is there a fix for this?

Something weird I noticed with Tidal now is that when you first start the app and you have the car radio turned up the volume is much louder and seconds after that the volume decreases where to get a decent volume you must turn the car radio up past 20

No one has presented any solution that I can find. Other than sticking with bluetooth.
I definitely miss the Bang & Olufsen system in my last car.
