RaceChip GTS w/ Mobile App -- Everything still in box in original wrapping/packaging.
What comes in the box:
I called RaceChip to confirm if it can be used on another car. Confirmed they can be swapped endlessly between vehicles as long as it's the same motor that the chip was configured for @ the factory. in this case the 3.3L. They don't marry them to specific VIN #'s. FYI - If you wanna reach out to them to reconfirm or ask any other questions keep in mind they're located in Germany so call early morning. They're 5 hrs ahead of EST, 7 ahead of MST, & 8 ahead of PST.
All the following info can be found on the RaceChip site in more detail but figured i'd sum it up....
BENEFITS OF INSTALLING RACECHIP GTS:
- 58 HP increase (423 HP)
- 180 lb-ft of torque (556 TQ)
- Comes w/ 7 fine tuning maps that allow you to choose the map that suits your mood or engine characteristics.
- MPG increase of up to 20%.
BENEFITS OF THE MOBILE APP:
- Select the tuning stage from your phone - 3 distinct performance modes:
1). ECO: Efficient for saving fuel in urban traffic
2). SPORT: Provides improved mid-range flexibility on open-roads
3). RACE: Max performance
It comes from the factory with the exact map for the 3.3L but if the factory configuration doesn't meet your expectations / needs, a customer service rep can adapt the settings of the 3 modes to the exact performance parameters of your engine. They will then be transferred from the app to your RaceChip.
- Can individually fine tune each of the 7 maps as desired (via the app at anytime).
- Can deactivate & return your car to stock.
- Adjustable warm-up timer - Engages the upgraded performance only after the engine has reached proper running temp.
- Automatic updates.
- Advanced service features - The people @ RaceChip can recalibrate the fine tuning maps per your wishes and can even change the optimisation software completely if necessary. These changes will also be transmitted by the app to your RaceChip.
- Can combine w/ the RaceChip XLR (Pedal Tuner)
