Hello, all! Happy Monday as well.
I have a '20 2.0T Sting.. I have the JB4 connected minus the O2 tap. I have not had any issues and the car has been running very well since its been on the vehicle. My question is whether or not I am doing a disservice to the tune/car by not having it tapped? I did a search on this topic, but I was not able to find this specific question/answer. Most of the questions are on the OBDII connection, which mine is connected.

Thanks,

The "fuel wires" go to the upstream O2 sensors. The stock ECU tune is pretty rich at higher power levels for safety (lean makes power but lean is when things break). The JB4 uses the fuel wires to fake out the ECU into leaning out the mix just a bit at higher power levels. This gets you more horsepower but it's still in a safe range.

It's not a disservice, you're just missing a bit of power, maybe 20HP? Maybe less? I don't know if there's hard data on how much extra Burger was able to squeeze out from that.
