Questions about a JB4 tune by somebody who doesnt have much experience in the tuning field

Hi, I have a 2022 2.5t and ive been looking around for easy performance tunes and it sounds like the jb4 is the best but ive got some questions about it.

Does it void your warranty?

What kind of maintenance consquences are there (if any)?

What work does it require to install; i.e do i have to take it to a shop to do it or do I literally just plug it in?

If anybody else has does this, what kind of power increases have you seen?

Is there any hardware that needs to be installed on top of this?

If anybody knows good videos or articles thats gives more information about how to actually use it that would be great too.

I am considering getting the JB4 for my 2018 GT2. Installing it looks fairly simple, just go to Youtube and look for videos there. The one I checked out was very good and the install took less than an hour. I wouldn't take it to the dealer for warranty service with it installed but it is easily removed as well.

Don’t forget you need to change plugs and gap as well. That will likely take you a couple hours first time.

The Jb4 is one of the best bang-for-your-buck mods on this platform. You gain the ability to get quick and reliable power while also being able to take logs and monitor the vehicle's performance. We recommend you take the jb4 out when you go in for any warranty work. In terms of installs, most performance shops can get it done for you but most people have had success with following the installation instructions on our website. As mentioned above, you will want to swap your plugs with the HKS Racing Plugs.
