Question on used 2018 yellow stingers

Hello everyone,

I'm in the market for a stinger (base or stinger) and have been seeing used yellow stinger GTs with crazy deals (as low as 28K with around 1800 miles). However, most of them have branded titles that claim to be due to "paint defects" related to the recall of yellow stingers last year. Is it worth it to purchase a used one with a branded title simply due to the paint defect? It appears that the paint issue has been resolved by Kia so it seems crazy to me you could get a GT for such a good price. Advice would be appreciated!

Mine may be one of them I turned mine back in because they wouldn't repaint any of the plastic parts, so these will probably not age well as far as matching body panels. That is a good deal though and maybe get it repainted correctly or wrapped. I would probably do it.

If you look it over and it looks good to you, buy it.

Yes, a good look over should make the difference. At that price the paint shouldn't be a deal breaker. And it may hold up really well after all. We don't know at this point.
