Iv had some bad experiences with some painted oem black emblems in the past chipping and needing to be repainted. On my genesis i went through like 3 sets of black wing emblems before i finally found one that was made with black plastic (not painted) that lasted.
How are your rear black stinger emblems holding up and are any of them made with solid black plastic that will never chip?
I have only found painted ones so far. Shark Racing does have the factory carbon ones though. I have a replacement one off eBay and will give a good clear coat before I install it. The one I put on a few months ago has started to chip.
I've thought about swapping out the stock chrome Stinger badge for a black one, not sure how it'd look on a panthera metal car that is already dark. Also, are there any holes in the truck lid? The entire back has way too much chrome maybe a red gt badge would spice it up as well?
Didn't know there was a factory carbon fiber stinger logo. Did that come on some trims in Korea or something? Thanks for the tip and the feedback on your black ones.
I keep going back and forth on the carbon emblem. Part of me thinks it would go well with the other carbon fiber parts on the GTS but another part of me feels that carbon fiber emblem may be a bit ricey.

So its not an oem one painted black but one specifically made to be black and last the life of the vehicle?
I see on the web page that the chrome one is an OEM part but it doesn't say anything about the black one. Almost seems too shiny to be solid black plastic.
Is it in 2 pieces like the oem one and come with that alignment sticker i saw in the installation video?

Our black Stinger Script emblems are a 1-piece black plastic emblem. The black ones are not OEM but they are still high quality. These do not come with any sort of alignment sticker or tool but they are easy to get centered and aligned.
***EDIT*** Hey guys, sorry for the confusion but this is in fact a 2-piece emblem just like the OEM emblems.
