• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Aussie aussie aussie,

Have any of you convicts seen any police stingers with push bars down there?

Nope, but I've only seen pictures of Oz Stinger police cars, haven't seen one for real yet.

Hadn't thought about it before, but our police cars tend not to have the full size push bars like on US vehicles. Large 4WD police vehicles mostly have bull bars, but with police sedans usually its just a regular front end. Sometimes they have small nudge bars with lights mounted on them, but I think that's about it.

Most Aussie police cars don’t have push bars, persuits are usually terminated if it’s excessive speed so the criminals just drive recklessly until the cops give up & I don’t think the “pit manoeuvre“ is practiced down here.
This is our current HWP vehicles here in NSW, BMW 5 Series & Chrysler 300 SRT, but the SRT will be slowly phased out with production of these now ceased.

While police in other states are driving turbocharged six-cylinder BMWs and Stingers, now that the imported "Holden Commodore" has been killed off the poor bastards at SA Police are being given Toyota RAV4 hybrids and diesel Sorentos instead.
