Hi All,
Just wanted to share some info. I was in an accident a couple months ago. Everybody is fine, other guy was insured and admitted fault, car is fixed ($10k bill!!!), etc. The issue I had was that I needed a new front right strut, and there were none to be had in the US! We waited over 2 weeks for that, during which time I was paying for a rental car out of pocket. I called Kia customer service, and they are reimbursing me for my expenses relative to the amount of time my car was waiting for parts. I know there are a few recent accident experiences on here, so if you have a similar issue, call customer service!
Short story: If your repair is delayed due to parts availability, Kia may reimburse some of your expenses.
